Kamilla Deeb
MSW, CSWA
She/Her/Hers
Kami became a couples and family therapist because she has always been curious about the experiences and relationships that shape who we become. She believes that greater self-understanding creates opportunities to make more intentional choices and build more meaningful connections. As that understanding grows, healing often unfolds through connection, whether that means deepening our relationship with ourselves, strengthening our relationships with others, or discovering new ways to navigate life’s challenges.
Kami works with individuals (11+), couples, and families of all identities, cultures, and backgrounds who are navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and emotional disconnection. Her approach is collaborative and experiential, creating a compassionate space where clients can deepen their understanding of themselves and the experiences that influence how they relate to others. Together, they explore what contributes to feeling stuck, build greater awareness of emotions, and practice new ways of responding that support meaningful change and stronger connections.
Before becoming a therapist, Kami spent nearly eight years working alongside children, adolescents, and families in a variety of roles, including recreational therapy, academic programs, camp leadership, and outdoor education. Through these experiences, she discovered the power of creativity, play, and experiential activities to support emotional expression, resilience, and connection. Working closely with young people and their families deepened her understanding of the lasting influence of relationships and family systems, ultimately inspiring her to pursue marriage and family therapy.
More recently, Kami has worked with diverse family structures, including families navigating divorce, blended families, foster care and adoption, and chosen families. Supporting children, adolescents, and caregivers has strengthened her trauma-informed and crisis prevention approach while reinforcing the importance of caring for the entire family system. Kami partners with caregivers to build confidence, develop developmentally responsive parenting strategies, and strengthen connection within their families. She is passionate about helping families navigate life’s transitions with compassion and intention, offering care that honors each family’s culture, strengths, and needs.
Kami has lived in Bend since 2017, with a five-year gap living in Colorado while completing her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy before returning in 2025. She returned to Central Oregon because of the strong sense of community, connection to nature, and the feeling of home that Bend provides. She is beyond grateful to be able to provide therapy services to people in her community.
Outside of therapy, Kami enjoys exploring the beauty of Central Oregon, finding new micro-adventures, dancing at concerts with friends, learning new and old family recipes, and spending time with her husband and their pittie-mix.
