Arianna Kosel
MA, LPC
She/Her/Hers
Arianna became a counselor because she has always believed in dedicating her energy towards helping others and building strong communities. Before becoming a counselor, Arianna spent many years as a seasonal nomad, bouncing between outdoor education and guiding positions primarily in Oregon and California. For five years, Arianna called the wilderness areas around Bend her home while leading backpacking, river rafting, and rock climbing courses with the Northwest Outward Bound School. In the off-season, she could often be found fulfilling her wanderlust through various local adventures and international travels.
While working in outdoor education, Arianna noticed a growing trend of young adults arriving on course with significant mental health challenges. She developed a desire to gain more experience and skills to support individuals dealing with mental health challenges by pursuing a degree in counseling psychology and training as a life coach.
Arianna recently moved back to Bend with her partner, Andy, after spending the last few years living and working in Eugene. They are both very excited to return to a community where they have deep roots.
Arianna enjoys spending her time outside benefitting from the natural healing qualities of nature. She is often found paddling our local rivers and lakes, hiking, skiing, and using the Merlin app in her attempt to become a novice ornithologist. When not spending time outdoors, Arianna loves to get her hands dirty gardening and making wheel-thrown ceramics, creating yummy meals to share with her friends and family, and spending quality time with her partner Andy and their fluffy orange kitty, Remy.
Arianna feels deeply honored to be of service to her community and support her clients on their personal healing journeys.
